  1. False alarms with motion sensors

I checked the battery level and interestingly one of them is now offline (presumably because the battery has gone dead and the other one is 11%. So it appears they were freaking out when getting a low battery. I don't recall getting an alert that they had a low battery level. But it's odd as this has never happened before that I suddenly get false motion detected when the battery is low.
  2. Anyone had repeated false alarms with motion sensors in the last 24 hours? I had my alarm go off triggered by 2 sensors detecting motion in a short space of time. I didn’t think much of it until the same happened again today. I changed the alarm settings to needing three sensors to be tripped for the alarm to trigger. I looked at the history and the same 2 motion detectors keep on detecting motion. Unless we have a ghost that just started haunting us in the last day or so, I’d say there’s something funky going on with my system. I know that heating can trigger motion sensors and points at windows etc. but these two motion sensors have been in place for over a year without issues. We have no pets either. Any thoughts? thanks for that I just connected the two to get my discount! Took 10 seconds.
  4. Who unlocked door at a glance.

I agree. Also I wish that I didn't get alerted when the door is unlocked from the inside. I only want to know when someone unlocks the door using a PIN and which person's PIN was used. It would be nice to have a separate rule that lets you know when the door is unlocked form the inside. At the moment there's no way to tell unless you look at the app history where it will say who it was, if the pin was used.

Having trouble with it again myself today.
  6. Halo Installed and Issues

I use motion detection in Iris to trigger the night light. Obviously it's using a separate motion detection device to achieve this. It comes on for. A set time that I pick. Works well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Irrigation controller schedule not working

I tried powering down the controller but still no luck with the schedules. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Irrigation controller schedule not working

    Ok thanks will try that
  9. The schedule function seems to have stopped working. I can manually start the watering ok. I have tired various different schedules, but nothing happens at the scheduled time. Not sure when this started, as I didn't have the schedule turned on for a few months in the winter. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Halo Installed and Issues

I am aware that you scroll through the different channels for the weather alerts, there just isn't any channel that a clear enough signal. ( well one channel has a weak signal on one Halo, nothing on the other 2 I have. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Halo Installed and Issues

There is supposed to be NOAA coverage in my area. I can get a weak signal on one Halo, and nothing on any of the channels for the other 2. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Halo Installed and Issues

I bought and installed 3 halo +. They were easy to install as I already had 3 smoke alarms with AC power. I use my motion sensors to trigger the light on them as night lights in hallways. Works pretty well. Oddly despite what has been reported the color of the light is staying on what I set it on. The radio weather and emergency alert part of the Halo is pretty crappy. 2 out of three won't tune in to the alert station. The third tunes in the but the sound is terrible. I live right near a massive radio tower so there should be enough signal. For some reason I had assumed that it used internet radio since it connects to wifi. Apparently not. It seems I may have wasted the extra money getting the Halo+. I'm hoping they will use the radio/ voice aspect to some better use in the future, and also the internet connection. 13. Garage Door Lock

I actually was not aware of the emergency release vulnerability, so will need to fix that. I also like the idea of using a smart plug for the garage in case someone can find a way of electronically opening the door when on vacation. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks works great. Real easy to set up. Hope they bring out a widget so you can trigger it in the pull down window on the iPhone for quick access, like Roger had. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
