When you are brought up around fire, police, and EMS there is no other time but 24 hour. You either learned it or didn't know what time it was. [emoji23] Wife doesn't like it though. Haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Firmware causing systemic problems

I noticed scenes have a hard time completing and I was having a disconnect issue with a V2 smart plug at my rental house that a reboot fixed. The signal was 48% and dropping up and down. Reboot took it to 98% then it leveled back to 100%. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Cutting the cable

I recently (yesterday) got my hands on something we have now called the AirTV. It is a pretty cool TV box that uses Sling TV, is an Android device so it has the google play store, and you can plug in an AirTV adapter (USB) on the back to hook up an OTA antenna right on the box so your locals come in to the AirTV box and you don't have to switch inputs etc. Also since it has the play store you can load Plex, Netflix, Hulu, Kodi, etc on the box also. Just wanted to throw that out there for anyone interested. https://www.airtv.net Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Right now we have a "First Look" for Amazon customers, and looks like starting in April it will be available across all other devices.

  20. This AM

Well I officially crapped my pants this morning. My house, that I am currently renting out, triggered a smoke alarm this am and I wasn't sure if my tenant was home or not. Called the neighbor to make sure my house wasn't smoking and he said my tenants car was there so basically long story short the shower steam set it off. I think I aged several years in that one minute. Anyone else have their first alert smoke/co2 go off from a shower? I'm sure it is the same basic materialistic structure to trigger it. 21. Cutting the cable

LOL, sadly I just now saw this. I heard the other day they were going to start offering it to employees to test before releasing it to the public. I would say it should be soon, but I am kinda in the dark on that stuff. I work in IT as a Network Administrator at a service center so I don't see much of the TV side of sales. I will try and ask around to people that might know around here. If it isn't a NDA, then I will let you know.
  22. Network Traffic - VLAN (Smart Switch)

Funny... I still have them all in .iso format on my NAS. Netware, Dos 3.11 > Windows 10. All versions of server OS's and desktop OS's, Office, SQL, Exchange, etc minus WinME and Vista as those were viruses in themselves. Not sure why I keep them all, but ya know. Mine was also from a TechNet sub and well client software needs.
  23. Network Traffic - VLAN (Smart Switch)

Just keep in mind, as I found out with mine, that your cameras will quit working unless you install a wireless AP on the same vlan and make the cameras join that one. I found this out when separating my Iris hub using vlans. At that point it wasn't worth it anymore and I rolled everything back.
  24. Connected, disconnected, connected, disconnected, repeat...

Oh and I also have one plug stuck on 2001 and everything I have tried, I can't get it to update. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Connected, disconnected, connected, disconnected, repeat...

They are not bad, just a corrupted pairing. I had all of my dads do the same thing at his house. What you need to do since you know which ones they are is this. 1. Remove the plug from the Iris app 2. Unplug the smart plug and press in the button on the front 3. Go within 10 feet of the hub with the plug. 4. With the button still pressed in, plug it back in until the light comes on and let go of the button, this resets the plug 5. Re-pair the plug (within 10 feet of the hub) and let it sit there for 10 min or so to full optimize. 6. Put the plug back where it belongs. See if that helps with your two devices that are acting a fool. I had to do that at three locations because I foolishly didn't pair them with 10 feet of the hub when installing them. The zwave part never paired correctly and this repair process fixes it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
