    More camera record time.

I really don't like the fact that you can't store videos for long term storage with Iris. I think that they should integrate with some mainstream doc storage sites such as skydrive, google docs, dropbox, etc. It doesn't have to be a seamless, automatic system. They should just give the user the option of linking to one of those accounts, selecting what videos you want to keep and that's it. If it was automatic it would be incredible, such as have a "magic" rule like "When video space remaining equals 80%, download all videos to google drive.". That would be awesome. Right now it's kind of useless in it's current state, I have two outdoor camera's and I don't know if they have recorded something important, but when my space remaining gets to 100% I scan all the vids quickly and then delete. I could be missing something very important.

    Pairing previously paired camera

G35Rider, yes, I held the reset button for at least 10-20 seconds and allowed the camera and hub attempt to pair for up to 10 minutes. I had the camera right next to the hub while attempting to pair. Thank you for the feedback.

    Pairing previously paired camera

Thank you xKing,I did not look to see if my router had the camera's ip. I will check and let you know. Thanks for the advice.
  4. Hello all, I bought an outdoor camera off of amazon and assumed it was new but I think, at this point, that it is used. I tried pairing the camera to the iris hub and it just won't pair. I have an existing outdoor camera and I had no problem pairing it when it was new. Is it possible to reset the camera so that it can pair to a different hub? I did reset the camera with a paper clip in the little hole in the back of the camera. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions, I guess my next move is to call Iris support. Thank you all in advance.
  5. Ok, I lied, I have one more. Instead of using a keyfob they should make it so that your mobile device acts as a keyfob. No one in my family wants to carry the bulky keyfob but everyone has a phone. They should add to the mobile device so that it knows when the device is no longer on the wifi network and have the ability to send out notifications when the phones are present or missing. This would be much easier than having to purchase and carry around a bulky keyfob. I think this may be similiar (or the same) to what Scunnyngham said in the first post of this page.
  6. My last wish list item for today (there will be more suggestions soon) has to do with the mobile app. Currently, when in the temperature section of the app, you can only see the default sensor that was selected on the website, I would like the ability to scroll through the different sensors on my system to see the various temperatures in all the different rooms.
  7. I would also like to see a new rule for when the outdoor camera is activated. Currently the only option is to record for 30 seconds, it would be nice to have the ability to select the amount of time that you want the camera to record, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc.
  8. I would like to see a magic rule that would notify users (family members) if a certain PIN was used to arm/disarm the alarm. This way I can have a general idea of who is coming and going. For instance, if my oldest son came home and disabled the alarm with his PIN I could be notified that he is home.
