    Scheduling Bug

  2. Problem: When setting up a schedule, the time cannot be changed. The popup window is displayed and user can select a new time, but it is never saved. Solution: Be sure the clock on the device being used is set to the 12 hour clock, not the 24 hour clock.

    Scheduling Bug

    SOLUTION FOUND. After being on hold for over an hour multiple times, I finally got through on January 24th. The lady I spoke to got my information and said this goes beyond what she can do and escalated the case. About fours later, I received a call from tech support. We went through the normal "Tech Support" things and then he had me install the app on my wife's iPad. The scheduling worked. So, I had a workaround and we closed the case. Being a software developer by trade, it bugged me that the app worked on the iPad but not on my iPhone. I searched for what could be different and then it hit me. My iPhone clock setting was set for 24 hour clock (military time). The iPad was set for 12 hour clock (am/pm). I went into the iPhone and changed the setting to use the 12 hour clock instead of the 24 hour clock. Viola, it Iris app scheduling now worked. So, there is a bug in the IOS application. The device must be set to use the 12 hour clock to function properly with the scheduling. I'd like to report this bug to Iris Support but will not stay on hold for extended periods of time again. I hope they read this bog and get a fix in place for the next release.

    Scheduling Bug

    Update: Still fighting this problem along with the hub disconnecting/connecting all my devices on a regular basis. Anyways, Here is what I've done so far: 1. Moved my 2nd Gen hub to living room (centrally located in the house) 2. Power cycled hub (removed backup batteries, power, network) 3. Reloaded iPhone app on my iPhone 6 4. Reset all devices. 5. Attempted to reach customer support but placed on eternal hold each time. So far my Iris experience has been less than desirable. Will attempt to reach customer support again today.

    Scheduling Bug

    I am trying to set up a new rule with scheduling. A simple motion sensor that will turn on a light during certain hours. When I go into scheduling, it lets me set up an event, but cannot change the start time. The page comes up to select the desired time, but it never updates the time. Same thing happens with Scenes. I have the latest app, released Jan 16, 2015 and using an iPhone. Am I missing something or this a bug?
