Bark sets off glass break sensor

I have recently installed the glass break sensor. The problem I am having is that one of my dogs sets the sensor off occasionally when he barks. The other park of the problem is that this happens when I do not have the alarm armed. I am using a V1 hub. Any suggestions?

I don't think the glass break adheres to that setting the same way it does not adhere to the alarm modes. Mine would go off still with it set. The best thing would be to try moving it to another location.

I have heard stories of human sneezes setting off certain wired glass break detectors so I'm not at all surprised a larger dog could do the same with a bark.  Wish our GBS had sensitivity settings as well, but as dusterp has already suggested, I'd try to relocate it to an area further away from where the dog roams.

That being said, continue to exercise best mounting practices for these glass break detectors.  The link references 15ft (for 2GIG alarms) but I believe ours is 12ft...the idea is the same though.
