camera wi-fi settings

installed a new outdoor camera Thursday and everything was working correctly.friday morning still working,then Friday afternoon the new camera  when viewed comes up lost connection.checked the Wi-Fi and all of the network settings were gone.  anyone else experience this with their cameras ???
