Smart Plug Performance is horrible now

v1 plugs working fine up until a recent update a week or 2 ago.


My phone app is a little bit old, and I have one phone app even older, both went to crap.

I turn off a plug - and it turns off - but the app doesn't recognize until I push the button like 5x then it will update.

So the instant feedback that was there is now lacking.


Anyone else?

We have not had any problem with delayed updates or lag when controlling any
devices from my Android phone or my wife's iPhone. I have a mix of V1 and V2
equipment. Both phone apps are kept up to date.

Any chance this is related to the report that came out yesterday about Apple slowing
older iPhones down supposedly to improve battery life?
