Can you tell me how I can tell if they are Gen1 or 2?  I'm going to guess they are Gen1 since I bought them early on in the Iris system's life.  I can take a picture, if needed.

These are V1 contact sensors:

OK, mine all match the Gen1 picture.  Anybody know how to make these work with Vera?

They don't.  That's why Lowe's is essentially refunding all the V1 stuff through the reception program.

We have now acquired a set of Iris devices and are currently testing them in house. We'll have more news on the compatibility next week.

In the meantime, you can learn more about the discounted bundles through our Customer Care team, who are reachable at 866.966.2272 or support@getvera.com

Any update on the compatibility testing?

I still am waiting to hear what Vera will charge for their security monitoring and when they will launch. I am holding out until I get my visa card, but if Vera does not have monitoring by then I will probably invest in a Honeywell or Helix system and use The Monitoring Center.

I appreciate that Ryat took the plunge and it trying Vera.  I'm interested in the platform, but not getting a warm, fuzzy feeling.

I did e-mail them, and while I got a prompt reply, I'm not keen on filing out a form to get what seems to me to be simple questions answered.  I do need to confirm the model numbers for all of my Iris components for whatever I migrate to, so maybe it's a worthwhile exercise.

I guess seeing some active and successful conversions going on would be reassuring,  I'll try to parse through their forums and see what I can find.

I did locate a compatibility list.

Okay, that was not much help, that Wiki has not been updated in years.  My apologies.
