Will Arcus support Halo smoke and CO detectors?

There are a few ecosystems that support Halo devices (Hubitat, SmartThings). I'd like to know if there are any plans to still support these devices under Arcus.

That is unlikely at first  The former CEO of Halo has said he has no interest in open-sourcing any part of the Halo ecosystem.  This includes the drivers for SmartThings which Samsung corporate has been trying to secure approval for since Halo shut down   There’s no reason to believe that the Iris driver wouldn’t be subject to the same restriction.

Hubitat reverse engineered a portion of the Zigbee cluster profile by sniffing messages while connected to another platform. If anyone here is serious about supporting Halo that’s probably what will need to be done.

Do you still receive weather alerts?

We haven’t had severe weather in a little while to find out. Since they are triggered by the national weather service, I would think so. If you are asking if it still supports them, yes. 8f4baaff0c3eebf24e6585c9c0a775d0.jpg
