I don't think so. I'm betting I will be among the first.
I was literally looking at my email the moment the announcement came in... I clicked on the link and followed through the redemption process within minutes.
Seems like I've heard of reps that said 7-10 days... then I've also seen 2-4 weeks...
Unfortunately, I think they legally have up to a year, and in the agreement we had to acknowledge there was the possibility that it could be after the service shuts down.
Who knows what the real answer is...

I seem to remember 7-10 days being mentioned somewhere (although, according to the terms, they legally have longer than that).
If that was the estimate, we might start seeing some of the cards going out this week... But I wouldn't hold my breath.

Went through the process Sunday afternoon and was told 2 to 4 weeks.

I was able to get another $300 for my V1 devices that were not connected
when they took the snapshot. Most of those were spares still in their original
packaging but a few were devices that I had given up on trying to keep connected
so they had been off line too long to be counted.

I read something about "needing to keep the equipment plugged in"  If we've already completed the refund request (168 bucks for me) do I really have to keep this stuff plugged in??

No.

"....... As a reminder a signature will be required at the time of delivery."

That could be a pain for me as it is possible no one will be home when the card arrives.

Just one more delay. A couple more days can't hurt that much.

Doesn't make any sense to me why they wouldn't just mail a CHECK instead.    It would be much better for their customers, and would have been easier for them, too.

1) You don't understanding outsourcing.

2) Why do you think they still care about you? That's laughable.

Here’s a question. If I depend upon Iris for security, fire and water monitoring and someone hasn’t received their gift card if an incident occurs at the residence without monitoring because an individual hasn’t received their card to buy replacement monitoring devices, will Lowe’s be held liable for damanges?

I believe most, if not all, alarm companies cannot be held liable even while connected and monitored.  This has come up before, and can be found in the fine print of all the alarm companies I have ever skimmed through.

I thought they said they would notify us by email with the tracking info?  How incredibly inconvenient, but if it *is* them it's good news.  I had the money to replace my stuff but it was cash I had already earmarked for a home improvement project I've already started 🤦‍♀️

I don't see much difference between a gift card and a check other than a slight lack of convenience.  Just use the card for expenses you normally would use your checking account for and there's the cash.  I have $500 in monthly bill pay already going to a credit card # anyway.

Yes I already have that service set up, but it would've been nice that Lowes followed through with the tracking numbers and advanced warning like they said they would.
